Biography

Hello, I'm Matthew Hobbs. I am a 3D Visualiser and 3D generalist artist, with a First-Class Bachelor of Science degree in Games Design from Bournemouth University. Alongside my studies, I spent a year in industry working as a superyacht architectural visualiser, collaborating with several high-profile yachting companies and taking part in the Düsseldorf Boat Show.

In my spare time, in addition to working on personal projects, I also take on work as a commissioned artist.

A bit about me 

What do I do?

I’m a 3D generalist artist with the ability to create environments, animations, character models, assets, and textures—both on objects and tillable surfaces. I can construct CAD models using SolidWorks, and I’m quick to learn new software, so I'm open to working with other CAD-based programmes. I’m currently aiming to learn AutoCAD. I am proficient in multiple digital based modeling programs like Blender, Maya and 3DS Max.  I can code in both C# and Unreal Engine’s Blueprint system. I’m proficient in both Unreal Engine 4–5 and Unity for animation, rendering, and game development. I’m a hardworking individual who constantly strives to improve on previous work. I don’t take offence to criticism; instead, I see it as a valuable tool for personal and professional growth.
